arthrene.............

Is that one note towards the middle top of your list a depiction of the Russian Czar Peter The Great?......looks like a Romanov family member? (the note has a woman too and 500 on it)
This is a really nice collection !...
I have one Large $1.00 bill in HORRIBLE conditon....and it's in the paper currency album with my others....just cause it's neat !
I've typically stayed away from foreign currency....in coin or paper....even turned down paper Confederate money many times......but I think I'll start acquiring some now........your's is COOL !

eaglefoot -
I honestly don't know who's on it. I just saw it when I was browsing the coin shop one day and it was so big and I wanted it so I got it. It kinda looks like it might say Peter to either side of the man's photo...but I don't read Russian.

Here are my favorites from my collection. I bought all of these when I was in my late teens or early twenties, about 25 years ago.

10 3/4" x 5"

*shrugs* Looked like more of a difference from the pictures. Maybe just because I'm looking at yours sideways or because in mine the $1 is centered.

Graceoutcast-

That is one of the most outrageous things I have ever seen. It looks like a placemat from Friendly's... the ones the kids draw on!

Excellent note you have there.

I really need to add a large note to my (very small) collection of currency.

this whole idea of Hell Notes is really cool

what do they feel like? Who prints these? What kind of paper is used?

So many questions!

I may have to pick some up
