I've been looking for one of those for a long time now. Nice find.  I think the other one I saw was on here, can't remember the cause, but looking at yours I'd say over-polished die. Edited by CoinMasters

I have been just glancing at the 64's while roll hunting, but this one stuck out like a sore thumb. I have to refresh myself about once a week on what might be out there. I really enjoy the nickels...

Yes haha the condition could be better. Jefferson's home in Mt Vernon, Va. You can bet he stored his wine there.

It's a 57-D Greaser, comes with a hair from Jefferson's wig. lol Sorry about that it's one of my early photos. |

For those that may be looking a little closer at the 1964's, don't forget that there is supposed to be a double die mint mark also. I haven't seen that one yet.
