The link indicates the coin has been sold. Do you have any images to show us?

No, I don't have possession of the coin. I had just put in a bid a few minutes ago and the seller accepted it. I have not paid for the coin yet.

The coin for listed for $188 and I put in a bid for $130 and it was accepted.

Pics are still on the listing. That coins is way too good to be true IMO.

Compare it to this MS-67....

Thank you for your input everyone. I'm glad I checked before paying. I will wait to hear some more opinions but I am definitely leaning towards not paying at this moment.

It has been cleaned, as said above, and there are lots of dings on all the higher design areas. It is the patina/luster that worries me .. it's not natural at all.

you put about $190 Canadian on that coin...for that amount of money or a bit more you could get yourself a gorgeous original example in MS-64 or MS-65(on a good day).

if you're stills serious about getting yourself an example of this beautiful design, i'll keep an eye out for examples worth your money.

My bid was $130 CAD. The seller's original asking price was $188 CAD.

In any case, $130 USD would have been $173 CAD.

I have tracked reputable graded silver dollars for the last three years. With shipping, MS64 1935s have averaged $105 Canadian. I am always hesitant to bid from dealers that have no returns.

In a conversation with an ebay rep. I was told I'd be more successful if I accepted returns. I asked her why allow returns when eBays policy is to allow a buyer to return the item regardless of what I have checked off in the listing. Long story short, she said it is basically irrelevant if I accept returns or not...the point being ebay does and by default so do I. :)

ohh I understand now

good thing that you got a hassle free return, that is always relieving. i'll post another reply with some coins I think would be more worthy of that $130, and much more attractive as well.
