The images may look blurry but it's the coin itself that is blurry.i will attempt better pics though

Any ideas? It's not burnt, or bent. Rim looks good. I spent 4 hours trying to figure out what I was seeing.

I sent Mike diamond a note on this one. It looks like it may have been struck through a split thinned planchet or struck through a reverse capped die as John1 mention. Waiting for the response from Mike. I ruled out Struck Through Grease as the devices are not widened. The rim area looks dished a bit like a capped die would leave. Edited by coop

The reverse was struck through a very thin planchet, either split or punched out of rolled-thin stock. If more than one image is present, then I would expect the extra elements to be incuse. If that is indeed the case, then it indicates that the thin planchet rotated prior to striking the planchet represented by your coin.

I wondered about grease on the die, because of the flow look, but that would not explain the rotation, and seeing it in person, you can see the building better

What an outstanding find -seems like it would a candidate for slabbing since it is so unique.

It's far from unique. I've seen many examples over the years. They usually sell on ebay for $15 - $20, so it's not worth slabbing. Error coin writer and researcher.
