Wheat - A couple of beauties! I often wonder whether your collecting philosophy isn't more satisfying than mine.

A nice Battleship in an early CGA holder with paper wave evident through the holder and bright inking.

Frog the battleship is awesome. Being a Navy vet myself, it jumps out at me ... well ... like a battleship in the water. Wheat, another nice design, not five dollars in silver but five silver dollars. Classic.

WheatBack:
The 1886 $5 Silver Certificate and the 1923 $10 "Pokerchip" notes are basically the two remaining notes I'm hoping to pick up one day. Well, those and the 1905 $20 "Technicolor" Gold Certificate. Well done!

Thanks guys. Those notes are basically "fillers" until I can upgrade one day.
Barry: The 1905 $20 is also a note I am lacking. So darn expensive!

This note here is grossly undergraded. I've seen XF notes that are worse than this one.

Boy I like that one. To boot, the centering is great! Big price jump to EF - crack it?

I've always liked the $1 Educational the best of the three because of the perspective, even if History looks a bit too chummy with her pupil.

Common design Green Eagle note in early CGA holder, but with very scarce Elliott/Burke and Clerk/Calkins sig combo, which is seldom seen in CU. Don't have reverse pic at hand, but this note is well centered on both sides and seems correctly graded with bright paper.

The first of the Black Eagles (Lyons/Roberts sigs). One of the great designs in US paper money.
