I found both of these CRH through a circulated bankrolls from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. First one is a 19994 P LMC with a "BIE" Die Chip and the 2nd one is from the same year and mint. It has a Retained Die Break in the 9.

Just found my first Fredrick Douglas die chip and my first leaky bucket I saw above that newbie and I found a coin from possibly the same die. Except I think my bucket had dirty water in it.

Potbellypub, those are very nice Die Chips. I have never found a "Leaky Bucket" yet. Good finds.

It's been a while since I had one to post. I found this about three rolls into a $25 box. It also has a Retained Interior Die Break ( Cuds on Coins, RIDB-1c-1958D-03)on the top of Lincoln's head.

Note the indent in the 5 in the below pic. The chip on the 1 looks like it may have come from the 5.

OK I am in and I want to play.
Someone pointed me here when I posted else where.
I found some die crack coins don't know what to do with them but marked them and stuck them in a book.

This is a 1946-S rpm-022. When the initial S mintmark was first punched it was then , for some reason, abraded away. What actually happened was die metal was pulled into the punched S , filling it. The final mintmark was applied and the die was put into production.
Rpm-022 is only known in late die state and the later the die state , the more of the secondary S mintmark shows. This is because the rpm is basically that die metal that filled the initial S punch coming out like die chips to reveal it.
One of my favorite die chip dies !

TJLang, the saddle horn doesn't have a Die Chip. It could be a DDR. Check doubleddie.com. http://doubleddie.com/190953.html
