Buck - check the photo grade examples from PCGS. Those are the examples I and IndianGoldEagle use for approximation of grades.

Characteristic of the LDS of Browning-5. Personally, allowing for the effect of a crushed die on obverse strike quality, I'm pretty happy with it at 35. Regardless of PCGS' opinion, that's what I'd write on the 2x2.

Moxking I have the PCGS photo grade app on my phone. I obviously have some work to do though lol grading is a very tricky thing for me.

VF-30, perhaps 35. Wing tops and shield edges worn down, and all high points in the hair have clear wear. To me, grading guideline aside, this coin is very nice but does not "look" EF.

PCGS deemed it worthy of a 35 which I am in agreement. tough to find these original even in a problem free holder.
