My set was shipped yesterday and should be here in 2-3 days. I'll post here what I think when I get them.

Quote: Images that can be clearly enlarged up to 300% without distortion Quote: Yes, they are all PDF's. VERY LARGE ones... 1-2GB's each. Quote: Yikes...does that pose a problem in loading the catalog? That gotta be a memory hog, lol. Those detailed images do not come without a cost!

It definitely takes a while for the file to load.. what I do is look at the beginning index where it lists what country is on which page (on one DVD it's actually in a separate file - kinda handy that way) then use the "go to page" at the top, rather than trying to page down to it via the keyboard. Egads, I only tried that ONCE. And that's on a 2GB-RAM machine. Quote: Those detailed images do not come without a cost! DVD should say "RAM not included" ..

Though the picture on the website shows a 2008, I wonder it you'll get an older version? For that matter, is 2009 the "current" version making 2008 "obsolete" and thus explaining how it can be only $25?

I received my DVD set today. It is the original set from Krause. I also looked for the 2009 version online. The 2009 DVD has not been released yet. It will be included with the book when it is released according to Amazon.com . They are taking prerelease orders now for the 2009 version.

To our American friends. Please be advised that KM values for modern Australian coins are usually at least 100% undervalued and at times up to 400% undervalued. I have discused this with KM researchers over the past 18 months but nothing seems to change. regards,
