Thank you Harley! It's unusual to find this type of error on a LSC. I will keep them coming. :)

Still wondering if this was caused by a feeder finger issue. Is there any marks behind the head. NW in direction?

Coop, I looked behind Lincoln's head and there's no Feeder Finger scrapes at all. So is this a Struck Through?

Usually you see this with grit and oil that prevents this on the field area.

But the grit in the grease has substance, blocking the strike.

Coop, you've answered my question. Thank you very much for the help and for the very helpful demonstration. Now I know what it is now.

Definately appears to be struck through die debris. Its a pretty extreme example, so it definitely has some value to it. I would say raw its probably worth a minimum of $20 - $30, but a less extreme certified example sold for $125 on ebay in December.

Thank you XavierOfGreen! I wasn't aware of that ebay listing of a LSC Struck Through sold for that amount. My example is way more extreme than that one. I appreciate the information. It's a pretty unusual error. :-)

E/V,take a closer look at the back of the Neck and the Collar area, On the second pic I think I can see what coop is referring to .on the other pics can't tell because of too much glare.lets take a close up shot with a little light see what you see!

I took pictures of the neck, but it is somewhat crappy. This is the best I can do. Hopefully, you see what I'm seeing. Are those Feeder Finger Scrapes?

You're very welcome Coop. Maybe it was an illusion from the glare?
