1.) Keep to buying quality over quantity. Which means save and wait.

2.) Complete my 1909 cent set in MS63BN or better condition (that includes the indians as well)

3.) Walk into a coin shop and NOT buy a coin because I happen to walk into the shop. Goes back to goal #1

4.) Be patient with some of the questions like, "My grandmother gave me this old dollar from 1972, how much is it worth?...and who is the bald guy on it?"

5.) Alert as many newbie collectors to the ebay scammers like Aboncom with their own SGS grading company

6.) Take out the collection from the safe and actually look and enjoy what I have.

Same as every years. Buy some coins, read some coin books, work on the coin websites, have fun. That about covers it. ;)

My driving goal for '06 is the purchase of an 1889CC Morgan dollar in at least Au condition.

And how about working on your photo skills and posting more pics?

You should probably be directing that one at me... I'm supposed to be taking care of the picture-taking for both of us - and I plan on getting started very soon!

Actually, I'm kinda going the other way this year. Having discovered that BU Morgans are rather champagne taste for my beer budget, I'm narrowing my focus buying every_single_coin minted in 1921 and going through them for VAM's. :)

Catman our first order of business would be a complete redesign of all U.S. coinage! When thats done we will overhaul the paper money! Liberty will be back and looking good!

Renal what is that coin you are using for your Avatar? Outstanding eye appeal! Can you tell us something about it? Thanks and welcome to the best forum on the net!!!

1) I hope to finish my US type collection (non-gold) this year as I have only 20 slots to go in the Dansco album. I just picked up a Trade dollar yesterday so that takes care of one of the four biggies.

2) Learn how to photograph coins with the new digital camera I got for Christmas ( Nikon Coolpix 4600)

Speaking of beautiful coins, just look at the Buffalo that zakgold is using in his Avater. I would give up drinking for one like that! Well, at least for a while.
