Thank you for the welcomes! I've always hesitated to join although I always use this site, figured people may get annoyed at all the amateur questions lol

And to answer your question I think I see it on the whole obverse left of L the whole north of liberty and the whole date I believe more strongly on the 8 and 2. And in god we trust strongest on IN and WE

Maaaan. So I guess I have a huge collection of I guess machine doubled coins? Is it only a double die if you can spot it with your eyes? I spot these coins immediately usually they are off center or double rim on one side? I'm sure I'm not using the correct terminology but I'd really like to know why I'm drawn to whatever kind of pennies I caught myself hoarding for apparently no reason lol

Quote: I can let go some of this ridiculous amount of pennies Know the feeling. I have about 45 boxes of them and a couple 5 gallon jugs. Keep thinking I will make it to a Coin Star machine one of these days.

@Cmurph,...Longshot but weight it...Transistional error. One known on bronze/Copper planchet (3.1g) Looks like a 1982 D Large Date (pics kinda blurry)..but the coin looks in good condition. Maybe an expert can weigh in on this as I am not real experienced, just things I have read and researched. Never hurts to weight them though.
