@New1954 I believe that you're 100% write. This happens all the time when he is part of the coin design, or his idea. When the RCM and Mr Bromberg are in it together, coins always sellout within minutes because he gets the majority of them to sell at his store and TSC giving the public that it is a hot item and you better buy before their all gone. This is a broken record with them.

I would say like this: The coin looks good (however I don't see exact design - it blurred) But the second coin, right after year absolutely un-necessary, it literally "kills" the specialty of the first coin. And this is not $100 item. The coin of the 2017 supposed to be expensive, unique, low mintage and desired. And now the second comes.....immediate profit for RCM and value lost through the years, for the second coin - for sure.

Canadian Coin And Currency has sent advanced notice for this puzzle coin and 2 other June 30 releases. The other coin releases are a 3 coin QE subscription and a 2 coin animal GITD Convex subscription. Strange, CC&C sent advance notice ahead of the RCM. They probably had a hand in designing the coins.

With a dated theme of "1866-1916," it would seem the new puzzle coin is just the first of three with additional high-priced puzzle coins for "1917-1967" and "1968-2018" coming in the near future.

New Coins are now on the RCM site for viewing for Prestige and Platinum Members. I give these coins a big pass. Not to my liking.

Well the puzzle coin lasted minutes then sold out. I suspect Steven Bromberg snatched them up to sell on TSC.

I guess I wasn't clear. What I'm saying is Steven Bromberg got allocated a lot of these to sell on TSC which left just a handful on the RCM site. Thus, the quick sellout.

Quote: I give these coins a big pass. Not to my liking. Which is fine... I also gave Falcon Lake a pass because it didn't appeal; I tend not to be a flipper. So far... for me, the silver coin of the year is the Special Edition Proof Dollar (100th Anniversary of the Armistice). This is a good looking coin in hand.

Finally I cancelled my order the other day. I could likely get a very low COA had I kept my order. But I decided to put my money (and storage space) in better use.
I still think this is a spectacular set, although it's much less significant than the 2017 set.

If anyone is still interested, Gatewest has this coin in issue price. You need to call them to order.

Finally my puzzle coin set is in the mail from TSC. I ordered it in June and it just got shipped. Wonder what the delay was.
