I reported many fake coins to ebay. Guess what? None of them was removed. ebay is not able to decide if reported coin is fake or not, because they do not have own experts.

I report PCGS every fake coin, but I think they will not buy back those coins from ebay sellers. I would like to warn the rest of you against buying fake coins, that is why I place links here.

On my earlier post where I commented on returns, if a collector buys a non-certified coin on ebay, then submits it for certification, if there were a problem with authenticity, I think ebay would support the buyer on a return.
However, as you are pointing out, submitting the coin to PCGS still does not necessarily guarantee authenticity.

I am curious if the Polish auction houses like WCN are safe places to buy authentic Lodz ghetto coins. If I look at WCN, they sell about 100 Lodz ghetto coins each year (interestingly, I didn't see any recent sales of certified ones in their archive. Last sale of a PCGS certified coin was almost 2 years ago).
