Wow! Thanks Nevol & Scopru! Quick answers (that make me a little more excited). I figured 90 degrees since it was a 1/4 rotation in a 360 degree circle. I'm not super concerned about a monetary value (although that would be nice, too). I'm just really pleased that it's worth putting in my Toonie album :-)

You're correct, it is 90°, my math left me temporarily.

Very cool... thanks for sharing. This is quite uncommon... definitely a keeper in any grade!!

to CCF.

Nice find for sure. Congrats. Now, is it a German or Canadian planchet?

Thanks to all the replies and comments!!

@loonielewy - I wish there was an easy way to tell...! My research tells me there should be a raised border on the ring for the German planchet. I'm terrible at spotting these little differences!! What do you (all) think?...

Oh wow... Sorry! I just did a preview of my post and didn't realize how large the image was...

Now, I don't think this is the German Planchet, seeing it this big...

My apologies to CCF and everyone. I thought the actual post of my image would be 'shrunk' in the forum.

Me too. Being 22 years old now, it might have to remain a mystery.

What is cool with this toonie is the rotation and you noticed it, there are around 10 million or more German planchets out there before ARP more than some years toonie's total mintages. If this coin was an exact 180% upset die, at auction who knows what it would sell for, but still this is a nice example enjoy it.
