Whoa, TNG, what a haul! Some really exceptional pieces there, even if they don't straight grade by what you think, most seem spot on. Keep this one upgraded!

Very nice coins and gutsy to post your grades and then later what ANACS grades.

Looking forward to your submission results!

Buffalos roam ( bearing in mind that some issues are generally weak strikes or like the 1913 S have weak Liberty )
These images were all taken in capsules or 2x2's and cropped in my photo program.
We'll have to wait on the gold Indians to come back.
My pics of those weren't good enough to post here.

The Jefferson Proof nickels I submitted were 1940, 1941, 1942 ty 1, 1942 P ty 2, and 1971S no S.

I had cherry picked the 1942 P ty 2 and we concluded it was a proof here on CCF over 9 years ago. I can't find my other post. There was a poll and most thought it was around PR64 - PR65.
OLD POST LINK http://goccf.com/t/42207

I noticed that even though these proof nickels were in capsules for about 8 or 9 years, that they still changed in appearance with clouding and toning.
It would be interesting if the 1942 P Ty 2 proof ( I think that is what it is ) comes back as an MS coin.
Check out the steps.
My 1971 no S nickel and 1940 proof used to be better looking too.

These latest submissions will make my personal set of Jefferson nickels now to include all of the pre 1952 proofs in graded slabs.

1938 PF65 NGC
1939 PR64 PCGS (rev of 38)
1940 ANACS ?
1941 ANACS ?
1942 ty 1 ANACS ?
1942 ty 1 PR65 PCGS (this one is WDDR-003) a duplicate I cherry picked for the DDR
1942 ty 2 ANACS ?
1950 PR64 PCGS ( Is also WDDR-001 )
1951 PR66 PCGS
1952 53 54 and 55 are raw.
I also have another 1955 proof that is slabbed and a very impressive variety, a 1955 PR67 NGC Tripled Die Reverse (quadrupled die)

Well they are on the way. Got some surprises, am happy about a few.
My Jefferson proofs faired quite well. My Buffalo nickels kinda deflated my ego a bit but then, they are still OK . ta have.

The mystery is solved about my cherry picked 1942 P Ty 2 Jefferson as it came out as a proof and it got a very nice grade, but I'd rather have a MS67FS. My No S 1971 I believe got a cameo designation and PF66. Happy it came through without any issues or I'd grab the tissues. Dan Carr's important Die Pair 6 1964D Fantasy Peace dollar got MS69. Woo Hoo! Not many of those around. Trade dollar is Unc and so is my 1921 Peace.

Thanks for your interest. Some good news and some not so good but overall, I think it shook out about how I figured. Ehhh I'm happy I guess. When they get home safe, I might be a little happier. LOL

Those seem pretty rough to me :(

Can you show full size pics of the Shield nickel and 39 D Washington quarter?

Yes, I'll try here. It doesn't matter tho cause they are in the holders and cropped.
I am not a very good grader myself. I am happy that only 7 were details. I was hoping to slip by on some of those.

They all came back correctly labeled and in good order today. Turnaround time was 24 days but then I didn't ship them. I handed them over to a representative for ANACS at a coin show and he took it from there. ANACS said they had them 2 days later. So 22 days isn't bad. Total cost was $362. shipped and insured.

The average cost was $11.32 per coin. I will probably do about the same thing next year but I won't be sending any buffalos. LOL

I think I'll try high grade full step Jefferson nickels instead.
