Still no luck on anything but 1p, 2p, and 5p. Got another one of each in change yesterday.
Have you seen any others in circulation yet?

I have now seen 3 2p coins, but no other denominations. I will have to start paying cash for more things so that I can get change!
One of my 2p coins has a rotated reverse design. Do any of yours?

Only been able to find another 5p with a 2003 Guernsey 50p coin for change.
Anyone else find anything?

Two more two pence but the reverses don't seem to be rotated to me.

I've got the one pence but it's already very grubby and has lost its shine. Bit of a disappointment even if it is different.
I've seen the 2 pence and 5 pence in other people's hands though, I guess they are quite interesting when you think about it.

Received my proof set a couple of days ago No. 15219 limited to 20,000 so I think they may sell out of these. The coins are very nice as a complete set.
The box they come in is really impressive though!
I have only seen the one rotated coin. The rest have been straight. Might be worth holding on to the wonky one. What do you think. Are they ever worth more than face?

You'd probably have to hold on to that for a good 50 years at least, so it would end up like one of these U.S. error coins from the 1800s... Aside from that, it's an interesting thing to own.

Just checked The Royal Mint's web site and they are sold out of the base metal proof set. Not that I would have bought one anyways. I did buy the both the new and old sets from them in uncirculated condition for this year and I thought the price charged for them was a bit high....£9.95 per set gives £19.90 use about a 1.75 conversion rate and I get almost $35 US dollars. I have seen The Royal Mint proof sets and they do a good job at packaging for them. The idea of low mintage figures and numbering them is nice as well.

Kena - in future years the proof sets can go for high prices at auction houses as with all proof sets, they are perennially popular. Oh yes, the Mint know how to set their prices nice and high - isn't it always the case with mints tho'..

Finally got both a ten pence and twenty pence in change today. I am still missing the five, fifty and pound.
Has anyone else seen these yet?

I'm not sure whether I like the new designs.
They are innovative, mind you, and probably look better in reality than pictures can do justice.
