It looked very similar to the 1972 DDO FS107 Class I rotated hub doubling. Mine is not the case? these next pics are from wrexler's variety list. They just looked really alike, however I am still really new to this so I am learning as I go along.

If you could post your pics rotated properly and add a pic of WE,that might help. Use the search box, upper left of page for a ton of info on the 1972 LMC master die doubling.

Looks like 1972-D DDO-004 from the mint mark location:

The clue for me that it was not a master die issue is the '9' in the date:

Although it is not listed in the image above, the shape of the '9' was the tip off that is is a doubled die.

I believe you have a genuine DDO, and the doubling appears stronger than the master doubling seen across all three mints on this date.

I took a look at the CONECA Variety Vista master listing, for 1972-D there is only one die listed with clockwise doubling, they reference it as DDO-002 2-O-I-CW. They list six die stages, yours appears to be am earlier one as in later stages the top of the O in GOD is polished away.

You can submit the coin to CONECA for attribution, I will leave to others still active in the club to advise how.
