GrapeCollects, I do have an 1881 IHC proof also with an eagle eye sticker on it which if you google " Monster toned 1881 IHP proof coin community" you will see the link quick. That coin needs to have some newer photos taken by me one day. That one I would hold above this one. But, this is very nice. I hope I can capture the color better in this one than I did with the last, but I will enjoy giving it a go nonetheless.

Wow Doc, that is good. I love your IHC proof set! You might get me to buy my first soon.....

I found the GC listing for the 1881, their pics weren't great were they?

Those are the same pictures. But they blow up much bigger on their site to zoom in on and they have a higher resolution than what can be added here. The reverse can be seen much better in their site photos, but they still could've been better. I got that almost 2 years ago and it went straight into the bank. But one day when I pay my sister a visit I will stop in that bank for it.

That was for the Sedona Collection of colorful proofs. I was going after 5-7IHCproofs that day and only came away with 2. Bidding was highly paced and getting out of control money-wise during the last 2 minutes for all of them and all the auctions were 40 seconds apart. I was lucky to come away with 2 or anything at all. I also got this one that day.

The wreath on that 1881 is nuts! The electric blue is amazing!

GrapeCollect. If you missed any of them that I posted over the last 6-8 months or so just do a google search with years between 1879 through 1909 and add in "IHP proof or Indian cent Proof used interchangeably" and "coin community". They'll all be there I think. I actually came across them by accident doing google searches a few months back and didn't realize they were mine until I opened them. I chuckled to myself when I realized it. I don't know if you can just click on a person's profile here and automatically see what one's posted for photos easily. I know I can on myself, but I haven't tried other profiles.

I gave it a go and found it most difficult to capture everything. Good thing the original seller's photos are already up to refer back to.

You'll never emulate a PCGS glamour shot. For one, PCGS images their TV's prior to encapsulation.

That is truly a remarkable example!
