ive found 2 euro cent coins in rolls before, their not that common a find though since the magnets in coin counting machines tend to suck them up before they can manage to reach the coin bags

I found a British 10 pence coin in a roll of Halves the other day. The roll had 20 halves in it too. BONUS

Hi, overseas coins (foreign) are quite regular over here as we are located to many surrounding countries in the Asian region and with a large tourist industry large quantities of coins find their way into loose change. There used to be more pre-decimal.

Someone tried to short the roll with a "filler" and forgot to actually short the roll!

I've gotten a 2-Euro before... they seem to be fairly common, according to the penny hoarding board.

Strangest one for me was a 5 Groschen coin that was wide enough to split the roll... I guess they REALLY wanted to unload that sucker!

I live in Louisianna and I've found a good bit of canadian coinage in change. Surprising to me since I'm about as far way from canada as you can get in the U.S.A. I've also found, off the top of my head, TWO portuguese quarter-sized coins and one dime sized coin I think their called balboas or something like thaat. A dutch piece. A japanesse 50 yen coin. A phillipeno quarter, bermuda quarter. Its pretty exciting when I find foriegns in change.

I too have encountered the occasional euro cent. I can't say how often or how many; I just toss them in the Canadian jar. I suppose if I get enough funny money one day I'll either have to take a trip or exchange it for US dollars.

I am wondering about Louisiana and Acadian history; the possibility that families once separated during the Acadian Expulsion have been reuniting and frequently visiting each other.

Puman, you'd hope it's in bills because I don't know of any place that will exchange coins. They say they're (coins) are too heavy.

Besides Canadian, I've found a Bahamas 1-cent from 2006 and a Panama 1-cent. People regularly pay in some Canadian and UK coins at times, if they work for the airport or car services and stop in for food. Other coins found are Eastern Caribbean States and Bermuda.

I have found several Euro Two Cents in change. I have also found 10 cent euros. British coins seem to be frequent finds as well.
