As can be seen I have been fortunate enough to have had some coins gifted to me, but for the 'junk' box finds I have been fortunate enough to had established a good friendship with two internationally known coin dealer and auctioneer businesses both of whom have been in business for around 50 years.
I have gained a huge amount of knowledge and experience from those friendly associations, for which I am grateful.
Numismatically, I am a
generalist, not a specialist, but aided nearly 50 years of good advice and pesonal experience, I also consider myself fortunate enough to make good use of that, to much more easily identify 'junk box' cherry picking opportunities.
Nevertheless, I still fully rely on CCF members for
specialist knowledge and expertise.
My learning curve is still steep.
