I can't vote! What dark forces exclude me from voting!
There are several possibilities. For one you may not have your computer plugged in. Or you may not have electricity in your area. Or if you voted for something that is not liked, you may well be ignored. Then too there is this voters registration card thing. Do you have one? And most of all you must be a coin collector with approximately thirty million in coins. In reality, I don't know.

Looks like CCF is coming out on top and it's no surprise. Bobby & Susan have done a fantastic job with the site as well as the moderators with the forums.
The fact that many folks use the free services offered here at CCF is a testament.

Still in the process of cataloging my collection. Then maybe next step is photographs. Will someone share with me why one would post their collection on the net for others to see, vs just photo cataloging them and keeping the photos for your own use. It the purpose to post collections on the net for others to enjoy the variety and beauty or is it a game being played which I call "That's nothing" - in which players post to show "mine is bigger than yours"? No sarcasm in this post I would like to more than the owner of this thread, do you post and where. I am interested in WHY collections are posted

In my opinion, taking pictures of my coins makes it easier for me to discuss any coin related topic which can be related to my collection such as varieties or different type of errors and so forth. A picture is worth 1000 words can be used to illustrate this point.

I have three reasons First I like sharing with folks I talk all the time with on the web but have never met them personally. It allows us to know each other a little better. Second, I do not have my entire collection on-line only certain sets that I look for feedback like "Why didn't you include..." Third, and this is very infrequent for me, I do indulge and show off and brag when I pick up something really cheap and it's a difficult piece to normally find. Yaaaa my ego does step in once and awhile

I found CCF when I was looking for people to talk to about this hobby. Don't use any catalog site, but I've got hundreds of pictures on my PC, al divided into folders.

Mainly I use Omnicoin to store my coin photographs online. The interface is easier, it sorts any picture into one neat size, and puts obverse and reverse together in one link.
If I need a photo with a larger size, I sometimes use my CCF gallery, and if the link is not permanent, I will upload the photos to my website.
