Is the color closer to blue or black/gray?

Nice pics. Maybe odd toning from being touched? Maybe Mike needs a PM on this one?

It's a grayish color. I don't see any other evidence of polishing or damage so I'm not sure whaat it could be.

It is toning. Some of those proof Zincolns just tone that way.

I was leaning towards incomplete plating issue (if the color was gray/black) I have a 2009S mint set (in OGP) that is toning, but the colors are more blueish/purple.....

It's be nice to have a proof error. I'm hoping it's a plating issue.

I wonder if it was stored in a holder with a material that only touched the high spots on the obverse, causing the color change.

That may be, but it's seems like an error to me. I hope it's a legit error. I'm gonna try to get better pics later. If this is a plating error, would it be considered an incomplete plating error?

This is the last batch of pics, I promise. Sorry I'm asking so much! Hope these help identify what happened to my coin.

Very interesting. Maybe toning? The spots in the middle of the bust raise suspicion. It's difficult to tell. If we can't get it soon Maybe PM Mike Diamond on this one?

It might be toning but it seems really sectioned off.
