Nice looking coin for $6. It has great eye appeal. I agree, EF-40, but it should sell higher than a 40 price.

the coin is raw so no TPG grade on this one. imho it is xf45-au50ish

the devices and fields are so flat and even across both sides I'm going to say it was cleaned. its just to even for normal circluation

Oh my. In looking at the new photos, the surface definitely is not original.

I enlarged both new photos, and I an intrigued by the bubbled surfaces next to the devices. (This is especially prominent on the reverse.) These either are residue of the grime that was cleaned from the surface elsewhere, or it could be bubbling from plating. The smooth fields and abnormal color could suggest plating.

It looked so nice in the first photos, though. Hate to say it, but I'd return this critter to the stream and go fishing again.

100% , Looks like it had a bath in copper tone minus the puppy pulling down the boys , oh never mind just send it back .

For six bucks it's probably not worth the effort to return it, but that's the price you pay when buying inexpensive raw coins from poor pics.
