I suspect it's been cleaned. Look at the area just in front of Liberty from the nose down the end of the neck, and around stars 1 through 4, and the date. Why is the field area between those elements untoned but areas immediately adjacent to those features are toned. I don't see that elsewhere.

A section of coin looks cleaned. My guess is that NGC net graded to 53.

the 93(O) are typically weak in strike. I think this one is better than that. it appear that most of the luster is gone on this one which would lower the grade a notch. AU55

Probably AU-58, with the argument able to be made for a 55 grade or a 60 grade.

Looking at this one again, initially AU58, I could also see a 55 too. Where'd Fenton go?
