SPP, the 1950 is graded NGC MS 64 (other forum) this coin 1948, is not graded at this time. am not sure what you see on your monitor. with todays technology, everything is possible, when I uploaded the images I did have an issue, as it UL the wrong image. But I was able to fix it by starting from fresh. there should be 3 images visible of the raw 1948: obv + rev + pair and NO TPG holder. can you send me a URL to what you see please? H

If you upload a file with the same name as an older file, it overwrites the previous image in ALL your posts. So, the onus is on you to own and properly take care of your metadata. 2. If you haven't noticed, I edit all the posts where folks use my first name. I don't like it. Use my handle here or I will start using your full name....

To me, they are just black backgrounds.

I think we need to give Helmut a break . In the original post , he mistakenly added an Obverse photo of a 1950 no design NGC Graded Fifty Cents, below the 1948 which he was asking about . Nothing nefarious , I am sure . MY original grading comment alluded to the obverse of the NGC picture below those of the B/W pix of the 1948 he posted . The 1948 , I would call AU 55 .
