We havent forgotten you on this one Snooba , amazingly these rabbits dont want to come and frequent Melbourne. I have only found 1 and a fellow collector has found 3 . I know our mate up near the ATC is doing much better.

We went through just shy off 6000 this morning came across loads of 2006 MOR but again no rabbits, found a few NCLT and an upset. But our best find came at the supermarket when we received a roll of 2007 APEC $1 Coins.

That is very kind of you craig_vt, thank you very much for still keeping me in mind. I must say that I'm amazed you can find the patience and energy to sort through six-thousand coins in one morning! Well done.

Yass, I have looked at your 1985 rabbit ears you posted on 20/2/2006 and I am pleased to tell you that I have found its brother or sister.
Now just to get my hands on a 2006 buggs and my bunny family can be complete.

Tiddyathome, Well done. I hope you find a 2006 wascal. A personally found error is far more satisfying than having one given to you. BUT! If you finally despair let me know. I have a few

Can you please post a mirror picture as I do not believe there is a 1985 rabbit ear, so jealous if I am wrong.

This is an old thread, so here is my 1985 Rabbit. My images are done with a USB scope, so no mirror image available or even possible.

Rabbit-Ears

I can vouch for both the posters above who have them, they are not the type of people who simply claim to have something.

The 1985 'Rabbit' is characterized by the small size.

I used to do a lot of noodling, but only do my change since 2011. The 1985 Rabbit I have was purchased from a forum member some years ago, can't remember who though.

It's extremely hard to find in the wild.

Guess I have to try harder, I had given up all hope.
The 1985 rabbit ear should be worth more than a scruffy mule then.

nah if dealer sell they sell for 25 dollars depending on condition (i think I saw one on purplepenny but was sold :( ) but they are probably quite hard to find not sure if harder or less hard then a mule 10/1 (note $1 2000 rabbit ear is not a mule).
