Well more like "mediocre not to soft core", but I do have a full Peace dollar Collection.    Sadly the album didn't come with a space for 2021  I'm getting the Peace dollar, I would even pay over mint prices. |

Just for kicks I was looking at 1921 Peace dollars on E-Bay yesterday and noticed cleaned/polished coins going for $300 to $400 dollars.It might be starting already.Good thing I already have a nice one. |

USC96, I like those restrikes too. I didn't know they produced the Morgan with that date too. I think a lot of collectors are going to be put off by the inflated price and availability of the 2021 issues and will turn their attention to the original series instead. It forced me to reconsider and I figured I had better get my 1921 now before it gets too crazy. I could only afford a XF example at $165 and I talked my brother in law into getting the 1928 to complete his set before it gets out of control.

I can't speak to what's happening in the market, but with increased hype comes increased prices, so I think no doubt this new focus on 1921 Peace dollars will mean a raise in prices, I'm happy to have gotten the one in my collection almost a year ago before this price jump really kicked |

From talking to a local, old time dealer who is a friend of mine, I understand that dealers are already buying up 1921s, especially Peace dollars, as one or more entities will be marketing them with the 2021s. He said asking prices are already out of control. |

I will be all in to get the 2021 Peace dollar to keep my set. Not decided yet on the Morgans. |

As a newbie teaching herself stuff, all I can say is if I had more $$ to spend I'd make SURE I get one of the 2021 coins... two if I were smart... 1 to keep, 1 to resell... but odds are I won't be able to score ANY, new or old!

I notice ALL Morgan prices going up. I'm looking at the trend lines on PCGS book, and almost all of them are trending up. If you look at completed ebay sales, you will see the trend there too. |
