Thank you for the info, there most definitely is a fold through the middle. I'm brand new to coin/currency collecting but I've become addicted pretty quickly. What's the best way to find collectible bills and coins? Does coin roll hunting pay off and how many rolls should you usually purchase at a time?

It's definitely a keeper. Personally, I would urge you to discontinue using the term Trinary. Circulated $1 Radar notes are typically valued at under $50, which would not merit grading, in my opinion. Just stick it in a quality currency sleeve.

Search ebay for sold listings of similar notes. Don't spend, but don't grade. |

It's not worth getting graded. This is a 3 number radar note and you should expect $3-$5. If it was uncirculated then $10 to $15. Radars increase in value due to their format and the popularity of the numbers involved. Also 3 and 4 number radars are typically less prized than 2 number radars.

Matching a radar serial number like 23533532 is pretty long odds. Matching the serial number and the series year is somewhat rare.

In the past, many dealers that were buying bricks looking to match up serial numbers for Fancy matching pairs. Radars and Repeaters were often matched in pairs with different series FRNs.  |
