Do you have a DDR-01 collection as well?

No, not working on a DDR-001 collection as trying to find all the DDO-001 coins has been quite a journey and even though I am nearing the finish line I'm not looking to start another set yet. But I do have quite a lot of DDRs, so would at least have a good start if I ever go that direction.

Seems like a DDR-001 collection might not be nearly as difficult as the DDO-001 you are nearing completion on. I for one hope you complete the DDO-001 collection so you can open up your collection to other fantastic coins. I love seeing when you are able to upgrade a coin.

GreasyFingers, you are close, but it's usually pretty organized. Right now I'm still just on my first day off in a long, long time so it's a little cluttered. But here's my actual desk workspace. Nothing was moved around, this is what it pretty much always looks like.

From left to right: in the cubby some tubes full of proofs I haven't put attributes on yet as they are time-consuming and easier to do in big batches. One of several piles of doubles that need filed. A great wall of slips with error and variety coins (or counterfeits, or whatever I find interesting) I have put attributes on and need compared against my collection and filed there or in doubles as appropriate. A small box of unlisted die breaks, which is a very small part of those I need to get to some time. A cluster of stuff I've identified as "something" and need to deal with it. A world of tubes for things that I want to separate but don't want to card, such as random BIE, RPM, Cuds, etc. along with a bunch of "to be determined" tubes for things I find while quick searching and don't want to stop and deal with. Then the scope.

The empty space on the desktop on the left is where things come into the system, and then get moved to the notepad to be looked at. I use the pad as it is quiet, non-damaging, and when it gets old I just turn to the next page. Also I can make notes on it, duh. The little drawer cabinet is full of doubled dies that need listed, various error coins that need sold off, and other whatnot that I want out of the way but not getting lost.




But if you mean the rest of my office, well then yes, it is a chair (Batman chair by SecretLabs) surrounded by Lincolns. This is one of four areas in my office (it's quite large) that look pretty similar. Piles and boxes of pennies. The upper left and upper right each are piles of three 100-tube boxes, and then everything in the middle, is unsearched.
