To my winners, I will be sending you both an extra silver dime each, cane across two more recently and since I have yet to find time to send then out I think it's fair to add one more for each of you for your patients. I will try and get them ready to send out this weekend and have my fiance mail them out Monday. I don't like to keep people waiting so I apologize:p

Hey sorry for the huge delay I got to the post office today, I booked the morning off so I could see some friends flying down from Alberta. I sent them via small package and was told 9 business days standard. Let me know when they arrive.
Shipping was 20$-_- next time I should do it via envelope. I added a silver dime to each winners choices. I'm hopping I did not mess up the shipping send send the wrong three to that you chose to the other winner. Let me know if I messed that up lol.

If Canada posts information was accurate (not sure how good they are with shipping) the coins should be arriving by Friday. Hopefully you guys get them soon and chime back with some pics:)

Quote: next time I should do it via envelope. You should try to ship correctly. Once it's out, you can't get it back. A standard US stamp has delivered my coins to friends in the States. They pay crazy prices to return the favour, and I always blast them. A stamp will work is what I tell them.

I'm sure it's easier then buying the safe package with bubble wrap or what ever inside. Also I had to fill out a customs form. Next time an envelope and a stamp should be all I need. I was in a rush to send them because I only had about 2 hours free on my day off and I have never shipped anything before so I took all the suggestions the guy a Canada post gave me.

Simple answer...a stamp will do it. Custom papers, forget it. Send it, it will get there.

Yeah, just remember to seal the envelope . One guy in Canada once sent me some Canadian coins but didn't seal the envelope before he mailed it . I received it but the coins were gone . I'll never let him forget it .

Lol I remember that for sure, also happy bday as well, or belated-_-, I hope the winners can respond at some point, or at least after the packages arrive, I sent them the photos of the packaging after I had finished everything just to make sure they know I was being honest about it since it took me sooo long to actually get the dimes sent out.

They have arrived. Got a 1940, 1953, 1960 and a 1968. Thanks again Wrekkdd! I will reuse the cool glassine. I'm somewhat of a stamp collector also.

Ahhhhh, I'm sorry:( I sent you guys each the wrong set of 3 it looks like. I was worried about that as I was trying to rush at the post office and bouncing back and forth from the emails to the forum to try and match up who was supposed to get what. O hope this is not a huge issue, you can always send them to each other:(, I'm glad they arrived but I messed up lol.
As long as Alec is ok with the mix up I will feel better lol, hopefully he gets his today as well.
The extra one was for the delay, I tried to add one year to each set that was included in the contest but was not chosen so you each got a 68 and a that was not in the contest I believe.

@tunnioc, you were the one who got to choose the coins you received first so hopefully you are happy with the ones I accidentally sent

Looks like the last time Alec was on the CCF was for this contest so I hope he comes back to let me know he received his prize.

Seems like the last time Altec12 posted was for the contest but nothing since. I hope he received his prize as well.

Wonder if Altec12 got his coins, I checked his profile and seems he was on 10 days ago but has not made a post recently at all.
