It's too bad the Mint has to remove each coin from the dies with a cold chisel.

So that explains why I hit all the reds--how do I break this hex on me?

Answer:

Sir, Thank you for you professional input on this coin and others I have listed here on ebay. I will post your concern on this ad along with this response. I do appreciate any and all input from veteran ebay members, positive and negative. It helps to keep this site safe.

You certainly are free to email ebay regarding my coins I am listing and you are welcome to. Some of the coins I have listed I have been mistaken on and immediately refunded all costs to the winner. I do offer a money back if not satisfied guarantee so an intelligent individual should feel safe and the threat of a winner getting ripped off is really academic, wouldn't you think?

I am sure you must have written the person selling the grilled cheese sandwich for over thirty thousand dollars that it was only worth three dollars. Or the two teenage girls selling the corn cereal chip that is was worth less than one cent. Even though you are probably not an expert on cheese sandwiches or breakfast cereal. I can tell that you are savvy enough individual to know the difference. You are a blessing to this site. Thank you!

As I said above you are free to tell ebay about my coins. And I am free to have my gypsy cousin put a hex on you so you must stop at every red traffic light possible the next time you go for a drive. I'm not going to do that so don't think about me when you have to stop at the next red light.

Anyway good luck to you and may you be successful in everything you do.

Cheers, Petruchio

Let me translate this:
Thank you Sir. I am a crook and a fraud, I know what I am, and there is nothing ebay will do about it, and nothing you can do about it. I will continue to sell to ignorant buyers. These are my customers, the uninformed public. Thanks again and good luck in everything you do. Cheers.

And he sounded so calm and professional about it until the very end.

A "200 D" error may not be worth much, but how about all of those S's?

Also, I sure hope, truly hope, that no one buys that dime for $5,000.

Petruchio...isn't he a Disney character? Oh wait, that's Pinnochio.
Maybe I am thinking of a character from "Romeo and Juliet"?

It is a shame because these sellers do know what they're doing (as all of you have pointed out) and they rely upon one "sucker" that takes his word (likely a HSN type) and it damages all us ebay sellers. Sheesh. It is entertaining in a sad way though :)

I think it's sad and hilarious all at once. I'm sure there are tons of people like this on ebay in all categories.

ebay is in the business of making money. Period. I know it's sad, but don't waste your time.
