I ave 16.14hrs here in OZ now.
Forum time says 01.18am that would be us time.
I am guessing Turkey time is 9hrs back from oa time?

OK Guys, Here we go!!
What value is 100.000 TL in new Turkish currency values?
In order to answer that, you will need to search through my previous posts. (or since it's public information, maybe some google search gives results, I don't know) First one to post the correct answer gets the coin in the first post of this topic.
FYI: I'll be off the computer (sleeping:) until 11:30 pm EST. I'll declare if we have a winner then.

I need to correct myself regarding time issue. I previously said that 01:00 am here is 4:00 pm EST. I was to post the question and when I hit "Submit reply" I realised it's 2 hours later than I've said.
I need to clarify that, I first thought to start it at 23:00 here. Then considered to make it a later hour so the Aussies would be up.

100.000 TL equals 0.0001 TRY also known as 10 YKr or 10 Kurush. they simply dropped the last 6 zeros off of the old TL to make the new TRY so say you had 1,000,000 TL you would now have 1 TRY.
TRY is the international code but in turkey the code is YTL.

and the Winner is... demonboy279 CONGRATULATIONS!! Well I was just to give up:) The answer was in these topics: https://goccf.com/t/3194https://goccf.com/t/3671in 2005 six zeroes were off of the TL so YTL is what we use now. 100.000 TL /1.000.000 = 0.1 YTL (also 10 Kurus was acceptible) demonboy, e-mail me your address and you'll have TR coin coming to you.

Renal, your pictures -coins etc are very impressive. Some with exstremely low mintages. With your permission- I wish to copy the photo of Nemrut- No doubt memory of the biblical Nimrod- I would like to know more about this particular area- Perhaps Google can give me some info that I am looking for. I appreicate the work in showing us all of these. habiru001 - just call me Dewey The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.

I suppose you mean the pics in my website Dewey? You can use the pictures, the pics of the coin are taken from Turkish Mint website, with permission that they are public property now. If you mean the pics of the Mt. Numrut site, they are from Unesco's webpage, I think they won't mind.
You can have a google search, it helps a lot:) You can also ask me what you are interested in, I promise to do my best to inform you.
