What's a struck through and does it make the coin a detail coin?
I'll work on the obverse photo to get a lighter version.

It looks like two smaller rectangular marks as opposed to one square mark. Like someone took a flathead screwdriver and hit it a couple of times. I am not sure if this is struck through or not. Is the coin bent, even slightly?
A strike through is when a foreign object gets between the planchet and die during the striking process, causing an impression on the coin of that object. It will not graded details if it is a strike through.

cant really assess this coin properly due to the lighting. strike is consistent for the year but cannot determine surface originality or remaining luster

Agree, pics with more light on the surfaces would help.

To me it looks raised rather than impressed on the coin. As a result, it looks like there is some solder laid on top of the coin. Also see some tooling marks next to the raised areas so I am guessing someone was messing with the coin for some reason.

If I were to think of a possible grade, id estimate it at a MS-63ish.

Because the coin is bent, that would mean that the mystery square is PMD. The damage is major enough to earn this coin the details grade. Suffering from bust half fever. If the coin is even minimally bent, the square depression is likely damage causing an irregular surface on the reverse. So I'd say Unc details.
