I think it may be a little doubled at the chin /beard area, But that is that lump under the ear? a die chip shaped just like the ear lobe?

Fig, why all the small photos? Give us one large ones of both sides, and be done with it! The small photos have to take time to separately create, and they are driving us crazy! You'll attract more replies with better photos!

If I am trying to bring attention to a specific area, would I not take a picture of that ?The pictures that I looked at on Variety Vista had many small ones. Sorry to have driven you Crazy.

Do you know what areas is the DDO on that die? Note the description box:

Quote:
Description: Light spread on lower B of LIBERTY and upper 9 of date.

Just those two areas make this coin a DDO. All the rest of the devices in the images are all normal. The description tells you where to look for the doubled dies. Why are all the other images there? They are sometimes used after you see the hub doubling to look for markers as to die stages to match your coin up to. Without the variety, the markers mean nothing. The devices will be normal. So if you see something that is affecting your coin and it is not shown on the images of the DDO, then it is not that die number. Hub doubling must match exactly the same. If it is on all the coins that year, then it is not hub doubling, but master die/master hub doubling. Then they are common and have no premium. Hope this helps in your future searches.

Yes you would, but useful photos and not so many. Look at coops pics, those are useful...click on one of coop posted photos and then click on yours. Is there a difference?

Fig. Are you talking 1958 or 1958D. You have pictures of both. This is not the big one 1958P. If it's the D then look at Coops post. It's on the 9 and B.
