A shocker to everyone, UNC details cleaned. I was expecting a 63/64 and was really disappointed with the grade. No indication of cleaning in pics or in hand. I'll probably resubmit at some point

Any cleaning of the coin seems likely to have occurred many years ago based on what appears - from the images - to be natural toning that would have taken years in a sulfur-rich holder to develop. I do like the reverse design. 2 people making up the North and South Continents. But especially the ocean currents that are modeled on it.

Nothing at all in hand to suggest cleaning, good luster all around, no hairlines, toning looked good.
Graders have databases for previously graded coins? First time I have heard of something like that, not sure how they have the time to check with the amount of volume they have, as well as the fact that whoever grades the coin is random every time.
