As of this morning. The gold Pysanka is "Awaiting Stock" no update on the silver Pysanka but the RCM site notes that net proceeds will go to the Red Cross Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis fund.

Just an odd note, I received the March RCM release in the mail on Friday, Feb 25 last week, but got my advance (master club "prestige") e-mail notification this morning, March 2nd.

Sure alot of ebay sellers with large amounts of Pysanka coins available. Not sure how this happens when the limit to purchase from the Mint is 2 per household.

There was no limit on the advance notice I received from my rep. You could order as many as you want. Also, ebay sellers could buy the coin from other dealers. Canadian Coin Currency made the coin available to VIP custoners on Tuesday. When the coin is released to the public next week you could also order from TSC, Canada Post, and many other dealers. So it is easy to get lots of Pysankas.

I'm a CC&C VIP member so I can see they had a limit of 2 per household.
I'm a Prestige MC Member so I can see there was a limit of 2 per household.
I'm not worried about myself getting a coin, but am wondering how others have purchased over 10 Pysanka coins.

@applesauce, I am Prestige and was able to order than 2 coins. Not online but through my rep. Do you have a rep? Perhaps that is the difference. The advance notice sent by my rep last night had no limit for the silver Pysanka. They probably added the 2 coin limit in the morning after tallying the number sold through reps and found they were running out.

Exactly the same thing here? Quite Odd that the general public get their folder in the mail before or at the same time as Platinum members. Well they didn't last long. The 2022 1oz Silver Pysanka, still in pre-order, is now showing as Sold Out from the RCM.

The new Pysanka and Dinosaur coins have a shipping date of March 28. An ebay seller has both of them available on hand. Pictures of the actual coins in the ads. How does that happen?

Quote: An ebay seller has both of them available on hand. Pictures of the actual coins in the ads. How does that happen? Dealer relationship. Direct Sales to end consumers from RCM online are almost always second or third shipping lots. I recall on one occasion that I purchased/ordered on day 1 of the MC Diamond announcement (7 days before general availability) and was given a ship date 2 months out... the following weekend, I was in my LCS and saw the same coin in the dealer's cabinet ready to sell. I queried my rep and his response was that for most releases, dealers get shipments before the release date so they can actually have stock on day 1 of general availability. The items that are delivered quickly from the RCM-Online are items with large mintages such as the annual SD or UNC sets where they don't anticipate a sellout to dealers for the 1st production run. What I presume you are seeing is registered RCM dealers with an ebay presence either in addition to or in place of a storefront or alternately, an ebay vendor with a relationship with a high volume registered RCM dealer.

Quote:Just an odd note, I received the March RCM release in the mail on Friday, Feb 25 last week, but got my advance (master club "prestige") e-mail notification this morning, March 2nd. This month has been a complete mess from messaging and timing... Typically, as MC Diamond, I get the email notification on Monday night 1 week before the general release... I then get a snail-mail catalogue on the Wednesday, still ahead of general release. This month I got a pre-pre announcement of a Low Certificate version of the $200 annual gold on Feb 21 (2 weeks early), The MC Advance for the month was This Monday (Feb 28), I got a 90% sell out alert on the silver Pysanka on Tuesday (Mar 1) and then finally the snail-mail catalogue today Friday Mar 4. Further... there was nothing in any email about the big coins... that was in the printed catalogue... As @MoneyPenney noted earlier (and I was surprised when I read the note), it is only available from the RCM as a subscription but then again...not really as it is now awaiting stock. I would have thought that it would have at least been mentioned in the category of continued subscription in the emails unless it flipped to Awaiting status between catalogue printing and email release. I had hoped that after the hot mess that was 2020 & to a lesser extent 2021 that the RCM was getting communications and deliveries back under control... maybe not yet.

The subscription was still available as of Wednesday, March 2 when I last checked. It must have gone to awaiting stock status Thursday/Friday morning. At the moment, CC&C still have the singles for the 5 oz Big Coins but the subscription is also sold out.

I woke up briefly at 2:30 AM this morning: the silver Pysanka was already sold out at TSC, but the gold Pysanka was still available. When I checked TSC again at 7 AM, both silver and gold Pysanka coins were gone.
