I agree with slider 58 and nice cherry pick!

You guys are probably right about AU58, but I'm not entirely convinced this coin has seen any circulation other than being slapped about in bags.
I think the reverse strike is uneven as well as soft, and I'm having difficulty seeing anything that is unequivocal wear, except possibly on the blooms northeast of Liberty's ear.
A nice coin to own for sure.

I think it is MS60, AU58s have usually lost their lustre and this one retains it.

Thank you all for the opinions. I was thinking it was low MS, but I'm still very new to grading. Once I get the coin in I'll try to take some different pictures as well and post them.

(not related to this coin) just as a side note...i'd rather have a nice looking AU58 than a crappy looking MS63

Sent this in for grading with NGC and was the only coin I got back with a decent grade. Ended up with MS-62

interesting. based on the high points of the hair and devices above the hair they all look like they had some circulation as well as the tops of the wings and neck of the eagle.
not sure I agree the MS on this one but it is what it is.

Congrats on the straight grade. Were the misses on the other coins big surprises or just not quite what you were hoping for?

I sent 12 coins in total. Had 4 that graded what I expected, 4 that graded 1 point lower than I expected, 3 details "cleaned"(only one of those do I personally see any evidence of cleaning on) and then this one graded 3 points higher.
