Yes nice save but I wood give it a 3 hour soak in the Verdi-Care . Make sure the coin is dry before you holder it .  |

I'm guessing it may really penetrate the worst areas. ps. I was kind of hoping someone would be curious about the auction lot of unsearched "rolls" from the safety deposit boxes. This group actually had some decent varieties in it, this semi-key, and 5 or 6 1922D. Still hoping for a holy grail before I finish but I'm definitely not holding my breath. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

PS - I would stop the conservation there. A tiny bit of original, left over grime is fine IMO.

As an admittedly old school crusty old fart, my knee jerk reaction to cleaning a coin is always NO. But in this case it is a clear improvement.  Every rule has the exception.  |
