But does anyone really think that the "Parks Quarters" will attract the same amount of attention as the "State Qtrs." did ?

No, the State Quarters attracted so much attention and interest because it was the first change in the quarter in the living memory of most of the US population. Even most people who were Great Grandparents at the time the State Quarters came out had never seen anything except the Washington and squashed eagle reverse, but when the National Parks quarters come out we will have almost an entire generation whose only experience is that the design of the quarter is EXPECTED to change every year. So a new series of reverse designs for the quarter Ho hum, yes yes I've seen it before, wake me when something new happens.

I heard after the national parks of 2010 are placed on the reverse of the quarter that the US mint is going to place images of famous Jersey drivers ---- that was my horrible attempt of being funny

I think the US mint is doing all these reverses because they have no idea what to do with the quarter when they finish It also keep us numismatist buying from them..lol

While on the subject of dimes, what about putting Ronald Reagan on it? I have heard talk of this in recent years.

Also I wish the quarters would go back to a regular design. But as long as the mint is making money off these...

I would think the more accurate statement would be famous NJ exits

I too am interested in seeing what's next.
unfortunately the hoarding scalping dealers corner the market for the first year and makes it difficult.

Yotie is correct , Mrs Reagan put the skids on that idea.I believe she said Mr Reagan would not have liked the idea.

I totally agree with Conder , I collected the State Quarters but then the next 5 came out and now the parks..ive lost interest I'm afraid.Perhaps its because they are not overly well designed and seem cheap and flimsy.

So are we seriously getting parks quarters? And just to ask, who here is going to collect them?

I will only have parks quarters that I get in change until I turn them in for paper money. I do not collect the State Quarters, and will not collect the parks quarters either.
