Yah, I was a little shocked. But then again, it's 15 days for economy, plus I asked for attribution which is another 15. Hopefully they post the grades before they ship.

He's the discoverer of a large number of VAM's himself, and in my opinion you can take his attributions to the bank. I'll be darned surprised if the actual grading time is within a week (as long as) of their estimate.

The last coin I sent in January 2009, economy to PCGS took six weeks and three days. I wouldn't get in a hurry. They are really backed up.

Yay! Way to go! Nice coin and real CC. Always great to get back good news. :) What does VAM 4 mean? Does that change value from say what Numismedia site would price as?

Quote: Couldn't of happened to a nicer Person. aw.. Quote: JUst out of curiosity. How many years ago was that coin cleaned? No idea.. I got it from an online estate auction (with REALLY bad pictures). It was lumped in with a bunch of other coins so I have to assume they were all loose in whatever container they were in. Could have been years ago or even before that previous collector got it. Although you would think it would have been better protected if he/she was a 'collector'. Malissa, I'm not sure if VAM 4 adds value. Maybe one of our VAM specialists will know? Thanks for all the congrats.. pretty happy with the result - it was definitely worth the LOOOONG wait!
