In order for a coin to be worth the expense in slabbing it needs a retail value after slabbing of $100-$150. John1

much better photos. what we are not seeing here is original luster so one of two things occurred. either someone dipped it and removed the original surfaces or the coin had some light circulation as its has little if any marks on it. there does appear to be finger/palm print around DOLLAR. looks like very light wear on the hair, forehead, cheek and jaw so I'm going with AU58 you have what looks like a type 4 silver coin. in order to be slab worthy the coin would need to be MS68 so save your $$

big difference in photos. in fact the original photos made this coin look like a business strike vs a proof strike.
I'm still seeing some signs of light circulation on the areas I noted above. PF58 impaired

Nice Ike though. I have a few of those. I agree. Not worth getting slabbed.

It may be borderline worth an anacs slab on their specials that come up but NGC or PCGS is cost prohibitive. Good looking coin though I love these big honkers and stack mint set 40%er's when I can get them at 10 bucks each. Whats not to love about Ikes put that baby in a 2 x 2 and enjoy it.
