I'm late to the thread, but here're the items I would keep for Armaggedon, in order of importance: - Rosary (preferably made of silver) - Ammo - Wine - Food - Hard currency (silver, gold, etc.)  |

I added to my list to have in my emergency pack:
Spare eyeglasses (readers - non prescription)
straight razer
and a sturdy walking stick (with a sterling silver handle)
Edit: since this is in the 'Precious metals sub forum' I'll add:
my antique Sterling silver serving set so I can sit down to a nice cup of earl grey tea in the afternoon.

Seeing that Putin just pulled out of the nuclear treaty, I think we probably just moved a few seconds forward on the Doomsday Clock, which is showing 90 seconds to midnight right now, I think. Things will definitely get interesting in the next couple of years, just overall in the world, and this country (United States).
