WEEK 36-37(04/09/23 - 17/09/23) Been really busy recently so I haven't had time to do weekly posts. But at least now I have some time to show what I've gotten. Firstly, foreign wise, I found a Kiwi 20 cent during a $100 noodle of 20 cent pieces (you do NOT know how painfully boring that noodle can get sometimes). I also got a small bag of foreign coins (both not shown) which included a 50 lira coin from Italy and a George VI British shilling. Then Australian wise, I bought the Aussie Big Things dollar coin set from Australia Post: And I also got the 2015 $2 Red Anzac coin, which means that this hunt is about 90 percent complete! Stats:Coins still to find: 6 1985 50 cent 2019 F $1 2021 X $1 2013 $2 Coronation 2018 $2 Armistice 2023 $2 Red and Black Vegemite

WEEK 38(18/09/23 - 24/09/23) This week's noodle of $100 of 5 cents yielded seven foreign coins, including a Malaysian 10 sen which I found on the end of a roll: I also found a bunch of 80s coins which are absolute stunners and I naturally had to upgrade. Why is it always the five cents that have really high quality 1960s-1980s years? No stats

THE MONTH OF OCTOBER (Weeks 39-42)No, I'm not dead! Pure laziness is the reason I haven't posted any updates here for some time. Anyway, here's what I've bought this month. First of all, a few trips to the coin shops yielded a lot of foreign coins, including the new countries of Morocco, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Tanzania, Guatemala, the East India Company, Argentina, Bulgaria and Costa Rica! I also managed to visit the ANDA coin show in Sydney, and bought a lot of things. For foreign coins, I got my first coins from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Rhodesia and Nysaland, Sudan, Southern Rhodesia, Denmark, Guyana, and Monaco. And last but not least, the Australian coins! I managed to upgrade my 2019 JC 5 cent and my 2001 ACT Centenary. I also bought the letter X $1 coin from 2021, and the 2018 Armistice and 2023 Black Vegemite $2 coins! According to my calculations, my Hunt is about 99.5% complete. Only 2 more coins to get, and one of them I'll be getting (hopefully) soon for $25. Try and guess what it is! Stats:Coins still to find: 2 (475/477) 1985 50 cent 2013 Coronation 2 dollar

WEEK 44(05/11/23 - 11/11/23) Yesterday I received a parcel from MachinMachinMan containing the last two coins I need to complete my collection of Australian circulation coins, a 2013 $2 purple coronation and a 1985 50c! Therefore, I hereby declare The Hunt of 23 COMPLETE! Thank you to DG and MMM for giving me inspiration for this goal. And MMM, your New Zealand goods will be in the mail soon! Thank you to Jbuck for your constant messages of support and enthusiasm throughout this hunt. I'll probably revive this thread every time a new collectable coin hits the market, but I'll just let this achievement sink in for a bit. I know about the Matildas and Dinosaur coins, but I didn't list them on my checklist cuz I wasn't bothered. Now the fun begins of upgrading, collecting 1 and 2 cents, and the NCLTs! Stats: 5 cents: Completed before hunt10 cents: Completed before hunt20 cents: Completed before hunt50 cents: 69/691 dollar: 131/1312 dollars: 94/94Total: 477/477

Well done OzCollection. Next goal is to assemble a 2nd set Quote: MMM, your New Zealand goods will be in the mail soon! Thanks. Hopefully Australia Post will get their act together soon. " This parcel was incorrectly sorted and arrived at the wrong processing facility.
It's now heading in the right direction, but there may be a slight delay. Sorry about that."

yes, the RAM didn't issue any 20c platypus coins into circulation from 1983 to 1993 PLUS the 1995. Sorry sqaremealroundplate but the RAM website disagrees with you. https://www.ramint.gov.au/twenty-centsNone were made for circulation in '86,87 ,89,90,91,92 and 93. 83'84,85 and 88 have seen coins produced for circulation, unless this is another mistake by the RAM.

That is indeed an error. I have Playtpus 20c coins for all years 1966 - 2022, except 2003.
