I'm hoarding pre 1982 LMC hoping that copper prices go "way up".

I am piling up a lot of better date and better stuck Jefferson nickels, but I wouldn't say I am hoarding since I tend to look them over one at a time, every now and then for enjoyment.
I think hoarding is a little less looking and a lot more putting away.

Lincoln cents are still #1 but I'm working on a type set of 19th century U.S. coinage also.

I am keeping all of the pre-1982 cents, better zinc cents, and five cent nickels I get in change. I hope to have a nice accumulation by the time my son is old enough; I intend to let him search the hoard and fill the folders or albums I will get him.

I don't hoard. I just don't I take all coins off circulation what I don't already have but will let the other ones back to the circulation. Once I had about 15 kg of world coins (doubles) in my closet but then I decided to sell them away (and use the income to buy new coins )

To be honest, I can't afford to hoard anything -- except pennies (cents). In recent years I have given bagloads away to kids, and even took a bunch to the bank to re-circulate them.

I once had an estimated 50,000 cents. I would estimate that I now have about 2,000. I'm trying to decide whether to build the hoard back up, or take the pennies to a coin counting machine at my bank.
