Huh, this is really interesting. It looks like legitimate doubling to me, but it also looks like multiple squeeze doubling more than any single squeeze doubling I've seen... very peculiar.

All I see on your half dollar is reflection glare with phantom doubling and a lot of MDD. You could prove me wrong if you take some additional photos, use less glare, a lot less magnification, and use different angles, especially on IN.

Having more than one example of a new possible DDO would allow you to compare the coins for die markers. If they all match then it is the same die and should be good for a listing. If the coins are coming from different dies it could be MDD. Always a good day when you have more than one example to look at so you are in a good position here. |

Very interesting. Do has the roots to master Die? The new photos show hub doubling and this combinate with the single new kind sqeeze Die to give this results? I am intrigue also by the digits 2 and 3.

I am curious to see what Atrox will say about this coin.

MDD (Machine Damage Doubling), and some reflection and glare phantom doubling.
