Looks normal to me. Not seeing anything unusual.

1965 cents are not plated. The head looks like it got scraped, and the blue color most likely is just toning.

Tend to agree with the comments above. Full coin photos, large and sharp, of the obverse and reverse might be worthwhile seeing.

the blue coat that is applied to this coin . its on eack side of the coin .it has like a texted pattern. this coin was been hub doubled. you can see the twist in the letters. this coin is copper and nickle plated. the metal underneath is not copper . I don't know what the metal is under that blue coat . its flat black. here is a hub doubled five . take a close look at the metal. you see copper you see nickel . you see rust and peeling plating. up near Lincoln head there is pattern underneath all the plating. its like this coin was struck before. I will see if I can photo it. check this five

You are reading too much into this coin. There can be all kinds of toning on copper. It's not plated it's just a normal 1965 cent.

You have an impressive microscope, but you might be better served with a worse one. You're looking way too closely at your coins. There's nothing there of any interest.

Ray taught me how to use this stuff . you know Ray from Seattle Washington. Samcoin there is a microscope that can do it all. from 1 to 1 plus 5X to 10X Mag . about 5x is all most people needs. thank you all
