Congrats on the haul but did I scroll right past the images of all that silver?

That is an awesome score. I had only one score even close to what you got- earlier this year when I got $50 in silver half dollars in old looking coin rolls from the bank, all of which were Walkers and Benjamins. Definitely appreciate that score, as they do happen but are pretty much once in a lifetime!

Absolutely true. I've gotten finished with a $1000 worth of customer and bank wrapped halves this week. No silver, 1 proof and 10 NIFC's (so-so condition). It's going to be tough to proceed, as I am spoiled by this unusual treasure find.

A find worth mentioning! When I got back into the hobby around 2008, I already knew a few roll hunters because my wife was in banking. One manager there was ordering $500 boxes of halves, some boxes were half full of 40%, and these got tossed back. Silver prices had remained flat from the early 1980's for a couple decades and my LCS wasn't too interested in buying 40% silver Kennedys at the time. I accumulated close to 1,000 in just under five years and sold them in 2011 for a good price.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72

Yesterday, I went to our local coin show, and I completed my Walking Liberty head Half dollar collection by purchasing a 1921-D PCGS G06. It feels good to complete another collection with a strong date and mint mark example of a key date coin. I'm pretty proud I accomplished this within 6 months of starting this Dansco album. I'm debating cracking open the case and affixing certification label into the album. &
