Grease filled. Looks like part of LIBERTY is also.

Otto: to me it looks like possible lamination issues starting next to the "I" in IN. But could be wrong.

Nice woody cent - but I think it is a weak strike on the reverse due to the obverse taking up much of the material to form that side. Pretty common on the older Lincoln cents.

The upper part of the O and the rest are current on those cents been very weak .
Bizzare point of view from KURD about Lam.

Maybe struck on a tapered planchet?
Since the opposite side (LIB in LIBERTY and maybe the bottom of the vest) is not evenly struck either.

Tanman2001 has a good point. What's the weight of your coin?
Errers and Varietys.

I've recently gone through about 5 rolls of 19S cent and pulled a good few of these. Seems the strike on all are slightly misaligned, would that cause week devices as opposed to grease? I found some where only the bottom left stem and "bus un..." From epu were the only fully struck devices on reverse. Some had the first 19/mintmark/ty of liberty/ and we from igwt fully struck.
I looked on err ref and there's some info on discerning the difference between grease and weak strike. But I'm novice and my brain melted trying to understand it.
But yeah could a misaligned die cause the weak strike?
