Jbuck, I believe there are pictures from at least two different coins here, interleaved.
What would really help is to have the Cert# for the coin in question, so we can all examine the complete TrueView pics in high resolution.

https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com...tings/cat/37While there is only one PCGS-CPG variety for 1964 proof nickels, there appears to be dozens of DDR listed on Wexler. That's a challenge, but the odds are good that this particular DDR/TDR proof exists in there somewhere.

Looks good to me, but I hate trying to see DDs on a proof.

I think I'll wait until that actual coin is in their hands and new images are posted - this is getting confusing.

Cert # was ready just forgot to post. I checked all the previous DDRs those were not a match then I noticed from the pictures the amount of separations. You can tell much easier from the site than the pictures I'd post, The previous pictures were of my coin and a TDR, the spread on the TDR is stacked by comparison

Your certification say PR68 with no mention of TDR. You can send back for reevaluation for TDR. PCGS recognise TDR. Till that moment it is just a low proof grade coin.

Quote: @ Tjames88: look closely it's not a TDR it looks like 4 serifs you can count them on the true views. I look at the TV. I can not see QDR as you state. The TV show normal proof with some MD.

Did you look closely though at the letters they don't look like the devices are smaller they actually have a wider spread, also the separation none of them look flattened or shelf like. Look at the eye as well compared to a normal proof

Unless it's something else could that be MD I would think that there would be noticeable damage elsewhere or is this another type of damage?

Send your coin to Brian and we will see the result. Your pics are to close to can discern what it is. The PCGS TV do not show what you want to convince us to recognise.
