A quick search turns up this store selling 69 type 2 cents. https://www.lastdodo.com/en/items/2...969-s-type-2They have an image showing the difference between type 1 and type 2 coins. It looks like double die is the type 2 and they will sell you one for 3 dollars euro. Type 2 might be a designation used by those who are making and selling modern copies

You've mentioned doubling which has been classified as "classes" pretty much forever. I guess you could be talking about a "class 2" doubled die? Maybe I be wrong, cuz I be just another dork I guess.

Dork, huh?
Well This Dork would probably have given a better answer if the Original Poster DORK (MasterKane) Gave up a bit more information to clue us in to what you were seeing - later DORK
